Sometimes life just dumps on you.
At least that's what I bet 50 people who thought they were safe on a lawn at the London Eye were thinking a little while ago.
Let me back up and set the scene here.
I am enjoying a late dinner ( it was nearly midnight at the time in London) at the base of London's big sightseeing ferris wheel. There all of these people across the walking path from who lounging on this small lawn area.
Everything is going great. It's a cool evening and the area around the Eye is still busy with life.
Suddenly the sprinklers kick on at full blast and everyone who was not sitting on the lawn busts out laughing ( myself included).
It was a pretty funny sight to see.
I gotta say those people caught in the sprinklers had some really slow reflexes. They were screaming and quickly jumping up and display icky faces.
They just weren't too quick about grabbing their stuff and actually getting off the lawn.
In fact, they were kinda poky about it.
Just a thought but if your sitting in a grassy area and the sprinklers suddenly kick on, my only advice for you is RUN GIRL, RUN!
Just thought I'd share that little story.
